Yulee High School Hornets Baseball Welcome to the YHS Baseball Dugout Club. We are the booster club that provides support to the YHS Baseball program. We run the concession stand during games, support our coaches as needed, and raise funds to pay for all the necessities that are vital to maintain our outstanding high school baseball program. The following is information describing several opportunities we have established to assist each player in raising the money necessary to satisfy his fair share contribution to the baseball program. 5th Annual Car Wash at Paul Clark Ford, Saturday, September 18, 2010, 9 am 12 pm Team fundraiser Each player must sell (12) $6 tickets. All proceeds go to the team. Tickets will also be sold at the car wash. 3rd Annual Golf Tournament and Silent Auction, Saturday, October 23, 2010, 12:00 pm YHS Baseball enters the 3rd year hosting an annual golf tournament and silent auction at North Hampton Golf Club in Yulee. All proceeds from this fundraiser will support our program. In addition, each player will be responsible to recruit one golfer, and/or donate one item (new item or gift certificate) for the silent auction. 5th Annual Murray’s Grille Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, November 13, 2010, 7 am 9 am Team fundraiser Each player must sell (12) $6 tickets. All proceeds go to the team. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Players will wait tables and cooking will be done by Murray’s Grille. 3rd Annual Christmas Poinsettia Sale, November, 2010 YHS Baseball enters the 3rd year of selling poinsettias after taking the past two years off from selling them. All proceeds from this fundraiser will help support building new facilities for the program, such as block dugouts, press box, covered cages, etc. 5th Annual Hit-A-Thon, Saturday, January 29, 2011, 10:00 am YHS Baseball enters the 5th year hosting a Hit-A-Thon. Proceeds from this fundraiser pay for each player’s and each coach’s equipment/practice/game gear packages for the spring season.
